This presentation provides an overview of the various iterations of African American resistance labor in the United States, i.e., abolitionist, civil rights, and student activism, as models of liberation work. This first panel is dedicated to minister Malcolm X in recognition of the anniversary of his martyrdom and commitment to liberation work. This discussion will include a brief introduction of the subsequent Black History Month presentations.
